Terms of Service

Effective February 21, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Resté ("the App"), operated by Resté ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Resté. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (reviews, ratings, posts). By posting content, you grant Resté a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the App and for promotional purposes.

You agree not to post content that:

• Is unlawful, defamatory, or harassing
• Infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Contains spam, malware, or deceptive material
• Impersonates another person or entity

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms without notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the App
• Create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes

5. Intellectual Property

The Resté name, logo, design, and all original content within the App are the property of Resté and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our prior written consent.

6. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Google Places API for hotel information). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party data.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Resté, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Hotel ratings and reviews on Resté reflect individual user opinions and are not endorsements by Resté.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resté shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
